The "Wizard" Refund Policy
Effective Date: March 21, 2026
At Groulx Consulting, we stand behind the quality of Option Wizard. Because our software is a digitally delivered product that includes proprietary VBA code and intellectual property, we have established the following policy to ensure fairness for both the developer and the user.
1. The 14-Day Functional Guarantee
- Eligibility: We offer a 14-day functional guarantee from the date of purchase.
- Conditions: Refunds are strictly limited to technical failures where the Software does not perform its core advertised functions (e.g., failed data retrieval via Alpha Vantage or engine calculation errors) that our support team is unable to resolve within 7 business days.
2. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- "Digital Goods" Rule: Once the Software has been downloaded and the License Key activated, the product is considered "used" and is generally non-refundable.
- Trading Performance: We do not issue refunds based on trading losses, "fear factor" changes, or market conditions. The Wizard is a data tool, not a financial advisor.
- Subscription Renewals: Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing, which will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Process: Email support@groulxconsulting.com with your Order Number and a detailed description (including screenshots) of the technical issue you are experiencing.
- Deactivation: Upon approval of a refund, your unique License Key will be permanently blacklisted, which will disable all automated VBA features in your copy of Option Wizard.
4. Statutory Rights (EU/UK/CA)
Consumers in certain jurisdictions (such as the EU, UK, and Canada) may have additional statutory rights to a "cooling-off" period. We honor all local consumer protection laws as managed by our Merchant of Record (Paddle).
